Offline Search

Let's search offline! This is very important for iPod touch users and a great feature that makes OpenMaps much better than the default Maps app.

    The maps are just tiles of pictures, they have no data to search from.

    Maybe a feature to cache some search result lists would be great. Let me elaborate.

    You make a search when online, let's say search for pizza. Then you choose to cache the first 200 hits inside 20 km radius for later.

    While offline you could search pizza and select from the cache of 200 pizzerias.
